There is no online account to close
GutLoop currently has no account, authentication, cloud sync, or account-linked server profile. This means there is no separate online GutLoop account-deletion request to submit.
Delete all app-managed data
- Open GutLoop and choose Profile.
- Open Data & exports.
- Choose Delete all data.
- Review the warning, then confirm Delete all data.
This action is intended to remove:
- Meal and digestion records.
- App-managed meal and digestion photos.
- Locally generated export files.
- Profile values such as your name.
- Locally cached optional AI interpretations and related app-managed state.
Onboarding completion is deliberately preserved so deletion does not restart the introduction. Reminder choices may also be preserved and may continue scheduling local check-ins until you disable them or remove the app.
Export anything you want to keep before confirming. GutLoop cannot recover locally deleted records.
Delete a single record instead
To remove only one item, open the meal or digestion record from the timeline, use its menu, choose Delete, and confirm. This leaves your other records in place.
Copies outside GutLoop
Delete all data removes app-managed copies. It cannot remove files or photos you previously saved or shared outside GutLoop, including:
- Photos saved to your photo library or another photo service.
- JSON or CSV files copied to another folder, app, person, or provider.
- Copies retained in device or cloud backups under your operating-system settings.
- Information you manually included in a support report.
Use the controls provided by those destinations to remove their copies.
Optional remote AI processing
GutLoop does not create an account-linked remote record for optional AI use. The GutLoop backend is designed to process analyzed images in memory and not intentionally retain them or provider results after the request. Limited operational logs may remain for security and reliability, and external processors may apply separate retention rules under the active deployment settings and applicable terms.
If the app is unavailable
If you cannot open GutLoop, uninstalling the app or clearing its storage through your operating-system settings generally removes local app data from that device. Device or cloud backups may retain a copy according to your backup settings. Consult your device provider's instructions before relying on uninstall alone.
